A ‘Down Under’ Segway Experience
If you’re planning a trip to Australia anytime soon, be sure to look up our new Authorized Distributor in the area – with initial locations in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney.
In the Brisbane area, Ray Carson and his team provide a flurry of activities using Segway Personal Transporters (PTs) to keep visitors on their toes two feet.
Ray uses a fabricated plane fuselage as the cargo hold for the 12 Segway x2’s at his adventure and survival training tours that include a GPS navigational challenge. He estimates approximately 25,000 people will have visited the tour this year, with more expected next year. You can see from the smiles below that it’s a great time.

A group of Segway x2s wait for their next tour.

The tour-takers embark on their adventure.

The group is all smiles.
Ray’s team also facilitates ‘adult day care groups’ with a local company that specializes in corporate training events and off-sites. Including multiple outdoor venues, catering, and team-building activities for up to 150 people, the service plans to incorporate Segway tours as an available option. Not bad for a day at work, huh?
And lastly, there’s a Segway vineyard tour in the works in Brisbane if you’re planning to visit. Chock-full of small, local vineyards, we doubt the experience will disappoint.
We’re looking forward to additional offerings at the other locations soon. For more info, contact Ray at Corporate and Group Experiences at 1800SEGWAY (18007349929) or Mobile: 0400025509.

This morning, I was watching segway in a trip program in my tv. There was told that in switzerland, they’ve used it as a tourism transportation to substitute bicycle.
It’s quite interesting and good looking vehicle.
Nice product, and really want to go there to be able enjoy the segway experience.
Good Job
Wrong place but… why are segways no longer available on amazon?
