Project P.U.M.A. prototype on the Today Show
Earlier this morning, teams from Segway and GM headed to the set of the Today Show to give the world’s first live television demo of the Project P.U.M.A. Prototype. The energy was pretty exciting. When we arrived on the plaza, the Segway team had already setup the prototype and was preparing for the demo. The crowd had already gathered, and everyone was pretty pumped about the event.

Meredith Viera received a test ride prior to the segment’s broadcast, so that she could get a taste of the experience. The crew watched the twittersphere light up with comments and buzz from the green room, as the Today Show began broadcasting. At 7:50am, we were on air, with the first ever live demo.
