Securing Asia (and Beyond)
At the Asian Securitex 2008 Conference and Expo more than 15,000 security, safety and fire professionals gathered to witness total security solutions for today and tomorrow.
Segway Inc’s Hong Kong distributor, JCAM, worked hard to develop an outstanding presence with booth space that included five customized Segway Personal Transporters (PTs), including Military Camouflage, Hong Kong Police, Macau Police, Airport Security/AVESCO, and Private Security models. In addition to these there were two Segway PTs, the new Metallic Sage i2 and a rugged Anodized Black x2 model.
The show’s three jam packed days including an appearance by Jackie Chan (partner in JCAM) as well as numerous demonstrations to many government organizations and corporations who have expressed a growing interest in the Segway PT. Segway’s presence at Securitex 2008 helped to solidify our position within the security industry as an integral operational tool.
